The Museumsuferfest also offers families a varied programme with activities for children and adults. Numerous museums invite visitors to age-appropriate guided tours, hands-on activities and special programme highlights where culture is conveyed in a playful way.

Family-friendly offers make shared experiences possible for young and old alike. Quiet areas and baby-changing facilities ensure a pleasant visit with small children. The free Kinder-Finder with wristband and mobile number helps to quickly reunite parents and children if they become separated. This allows families to enjoy the wide range of offers along the Main together.

At the Museum Embankment Festival, families will find a wide range of activities and practical services. As well as a varied children’s programme, there are quiet areas, play zones, nappy-changing facilities and the free ‘Kinder-Finder’ service. Everything you need for a great day out with the whole family.

- Familiy Rest Areas
    
    Rest and play areas can be found
    
    
    - on the playground by the Untermain Bridge, near the German Life-Saving Association (DLRG) station
    - in the museum park of the Museum of World Cultures
    - in the museum park of the Museum of Applied Arts
    - in the museum park of the Liebieghaus.
- Baby-changing facilities
    
    All mobile toilet locations at the Museumsuferfest (except Dixi toilets) are equipped with baby-changing tables in accessible toilet containers. In addition, several participating museums also provide baby-changing facilities.
- Kinder-Finder (Child Locator)
    
    With the Kinder-Finder, you can relax and enjoy your visit to the Museum Embankment Festival. This free service is aimed particularly at families with young children and provides extra peace of mind on the festival grounds. The Kinder-Finder is a wristband on which you enter your mobile number. Should you lose sight of your child in the hustle and bustle, other visitors or the police can quickly contact you by phone. This makes it easy for you to find each other again.
    The wristband is available free of charge at the Tourist Information stand at the Museum Embankment Festival on the Eiserner Steg, at the Römerberg Tourist Information office and at the Tourist Information office in the New Old Town. Simply pick one up, write down your number and enjoy the colourful festivities with peace of mind.
