New Spacewave EXP. is a collective of musicians passionate about improvisation and sound; the group formed and evolved in early 2020, born of "forced labor" within the safe haven of a home studio. Stylistically, the genres of psychedelic, jazz, and progressive music converge through improvisation, transforming into the avant-garde. The "EXP." in their name stands for both "experience" and "experiments."
Their approach involves creating compositions through improvisation, guided only by rudimentary parameters such as time signatures and keys.
