Guided Tour of the German Museum of Culinary Arts and Dining Culture

The German Museum of Culinary Arts and Dining Culture at Holzgraben 4 invites visitors from Friday through Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., to explore the cultural history of cooking and dining. The exhibition covers a wide range of topics—from energy and cooking with solar grills, cooking boxes, and pressure cookers to Frankfurt products such as Lacroix, Nestlé-Rex, “Weck” jars, and Brenten—a medieval marzipan pastry—to cutlery, tea, and wine culture.

Other topics include the cutlery display case, the Gruber pastry shop, the Wolfgang Gross menu collection, and works by Tassilo von Grolman. In addition, guided tours are offered for visitors ages 10 and up: on August 28 and 29 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and 8:00 p.m., and on August 30 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
