Have you ever talked to a tree? AI workshop with Andreas Kugel
The Multispecies Members Club at the MGGU - Museum Giersch at Goethe University - will open its doors for the 2026 Museum Embankment Festival. Guided tours, workshops, discussions and an open studio invite visitors to explore new ways of coexisting with trees, water, other living beings and AI. The focus is on the exhibition “Multispecies Members Club: New Alliances Between Living and Artificial Systems,” which runs through September 6 - one of the last chances to visit.
In the workshop, we’ll show how AI can be used for environmental research and interaction. We’ll explain the structure of an AI bot, introduce devices and software and work together to develop prompts. Live experiments will demonstrate how role stereotypes and user-provided data—such as sensor readings or contextual documents - influence the bot’s responses.
