Sound in the Monastery - The Art of Playing 1

Classical Music
With "The Art of Playing 1", Anna Kaiser (violin), Johannes Berger (cello), and Sólrún Franzdóttir Wechner (harpsichord) invite you to a special musical experience at the Carmelite Monastery.
On August 29 and 30, 2026, “Klang im Kloster” once again invites you to a musical oasis in the heart of Frankfurt.
In the historic refectory of the Carmelite Monastery—the city’s only surviving medieval monastic complex—short, captivating 30-minute concerts will be held during the Museumsuferfest. On both days, international musicians will take the audience on a journey through various eras and styles—from medieval sounds to Baroque virtuosity to the colorful musical discoveries of the 18th century.
Amid Jörg Ratgeb’s impressive murals, visitors will experience a special atmosphere far removed from the hustle and bustle of the festival—a place where music and history merge in a unique way.
