KIRAN OTIS
KIRAN OTIS combines German lyrics with electronic beats and rock guitar, creating a unique sound that is diverse yet instantly recognizable.
While songs like “Spür Nix” lean toward post-punk/techno, the song “Rockstar” comes across with a solid punk attitude. While his earlier songs were more heavily influenced by techno-rap, his new ones sound increasingly like rock, at times reminiscent of the ’90s nu-metal era.
His productions and lyrics are just as multifaceted as he sees himself. Some songs are dead serious, while others are just meant to be fun. True to the motto: Life is a roller coaster ride.
In 2025, the video for his song “City Cowboys” won the award for Best Music Video at the Berlin Indie Film Festival.
In addition to a solid look and sound, there’s one thing that absolutely can’t be missing: live shows! And when we say live, we mean live. Thanks to his three bandmates, this is no longer just a simple rap concert. It becomes a show by a young, wild band from Frankfurt am Main that’s anything but boring!
